Descendents of Darkness😃Supernatural Cop Drama, didn't finish but it was good. I'll go back to it. Lots of teasing with boy on boy flirtation. I don't remember much about it, sadly. It didn't fit with the theme that we'd been watching so far. That's why it was abandoned. Very much a buddy cop show. It did have real elements of Japan in the scenery.The City of Nagasaki is shown throughout the series. Many tourist sites
such as The Peace Memorial, Glover Garden, and Oura Cathedral are shown.
This very much created a turning point and the theme became paranormal.
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody😃 Fantasy, Reincarnation, Demons, Supernatural, Emotionally Intelligent, Deep. Demon just shows up in a 10 year old's body and learns to have friends. Mostly a teens-in-school drama. Love triangle between his childhood Elf girl friend and his new Succubus friend. Everywhere he goes, women fall in love. In this era they've forgotten a lot of tech and magic, he brings it back accidently. In his former life as a Lord, he was seen as slacker escaping responsibility by dying and trying to reincarnate. He gives himself away to his former sister (a long lived demon) through his kind of magic. Can guys be a Mary-Sue? I didn't like him having everyone constantly fall in love with him for being so precoscious. I hope it fills out more in the upcoming episodes.

Aquarion Evol 😀MechSuit, Fantasy, Reincarnation, Contemporary. This is the evolution, hundreds of years and reincarnations later! A new religion has been formed because of the actions of those in the original series. So much forgotten and had to be relearned about the Vectors.
Aquarion Logos 😅 Modern, MechSuit, Intellectual, Goofy, Abstract, Language, Reincarnation. This is about words and meaning, only loosely part of the trilogy. In this Aquarion they fight words, hence the name Logos. Words and their meanings and reification and how so much goes unseen due to words creating a barrier to reality. A fight between those who want a peaceful world with communication and a bitter man who wants to destroy the world by destroying meaning/words/logos.
The Dawn of The Witch 😀1800's-esque fantasy about witches, war and witch hunts. Critical of organized religion.
Devil Line 😀Vampires, Cop Drama, Thriller. Has to do with vampires called Devils in modern Japan and a secret devil police force
Ascendance of a Bookworm😍😍😍Reincarnation, Fantasy, Magic Personally love it, quiet. Quiet not an action piece. A librarian dies and gets reincarnated back in a time before the printing press as a 6 year old. Posits an interesting question about what one would do of they were reincarnated in a time without books, shoot, without paper! Look for season 4
Here's another turning point. We really loved "Bookworm" and then stumbled onto "Overlord." "Overlord" was also very good and we wanted more on that same theme: a single person who loves a video game gets transported to the world of the game!
Overlord😍😀😀 Fantasy magical video game theme. Starts when the game is shutting down an mmorpg. A guy is stuck in a video game, sort of. The server shut down, he was still on as he went to sleep and woke up in the world of the video game as the character he played, head leader. Really interesting! Great Writing!! The npc's know they were created by beings who are no longer there. Worldbuilding is incredible.

He's a guy who was a legendary player in a MMORPG and got summoned by an elf and a cat girl into a fantasy land like the game. He collected more and more women. All adult female entourage

He has hobgoblin friends and ogres that turn into sexy kaijen. Blob turns into a demon lord. He collects and entourage--not just female.
The Ones Within 😶a bunch of LetsPlayers get kidnapped and forced to play until they hit 10 million views on the stream. Bunch of high schoolers so we just half watched. We really didn't watch just had it on while on our phones

Kado: The Right Answer 😍😍😍 SciFi , Contemporary, a cube appears and swallows an airplane with 2 negotiators on it. Only one man can understand the cube man and is an interpreter. Very intellectual, hard Sci Fi.
